Toyota Motor PH Chairman Says New Car Sales Set To Reach Record; Electrified Vehicle Sales Doubled
The Philippine auto industry may have a record year this 2024 in terms of sales. This is according to Toyota Motor Philippines chairman Alfred Ty. Ty says that full-year 2024 sales could be close to, or even surpass 2017’s record 473,943-unit sales.

September 2024 New Car Sales Hold Steady As Chinese Brands Take 5.44 Percent Market Share
New vehicle sales remained steady last September, moving a total of 39,542 units. This is a one percent growth compared to the 39,155 units sold in August and a 2.4 percent growth (38,628) compared to September 2023. This is according to the joint report of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers, Inc. and the Truck Manufacturers Association (CAMPI-TMA).
